[Larry, San Francisco] I just read a long article in tablet magazine by Obama’s biographer [David Garrow].
Off-topic maybe but well-timed. On Barry’s birthday! (In Chicago, if not in time-stamp Greenwich. Where I once had a really good shepherd’s pie before “observing” Halley’s comet through the big ‘scope.)
“As Obama’s live-in girlfriend and closest friend during the 1980s…”
Is he the first president known to have shacked up? Not counting Buchanan and Wm. R D King. Or Lincoln’s money-saving bed-sharing.
(A side question: how old was Obama when he cast his first vote? Jimmy Carter had the chance to set the record for youngest-voting president in 1944, but blew it. Did Obama too? Or did he vote for Jimmy at nineteen?)
his fantasies of having sex with men
Speaking of Buchanan…
read today, to people who are more familiar with the Obama myth than the historical record, like partisan bigotry.
Were MLK’s files sealed for 50 years in the belief that society would have degenerated enough so that nothing therein would be scandalous anymore? Not a bad guess. But they may have waited too long– #MeToo came along, and being a spectator at a rape is no longer as off-brushable. Should have unsealed them in 2010.
N.S.: Reg, MLK wasn’t a “spectator at a rape,” he was a rapist.
Aside from the statutory notion of “acting in concert” or “criminal responsibility” (depending on the state in question), this was King’s rape. The as-yet-unnamed follower of his who penetrated the victim was acting on King’s orders. King opened the “meeting” by telling the vic that they were going to commit unnatural acts on her person.
My theory is that the vic had rejected King’s sexual advances, and that he was “punishing” her for her “disobedience.”
democrat historian David Garrow functions as the keeper of secrets and manipulator of unsavory truths.
I first learned of King’s womanizing via Garrow’s 1986 biography, Bearing the Cross: Martin Luther King Jr. and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, which I read in 1987 or ‘88.
However, Garrow has a way of softening blows, and I was then a devotee of the King cult, and so I ignored the matter. However, I am a rabid hater of plagiarists. When I learned from Ted Pappas’ late 1990s’ book on MLK as plagiarist that everything King had “written” he’d stolen, I turned on King.
(Disturbingly, to this day, Garrow unironically refers in interviews to King, who had stolen all of his college degrees from the work of White men, as “Doc.”)
Garrow has spent many years rhetorically twisting the many unsavory elements of King’s life.
In Bearing the Cross, Garrow wrote that in wiretapping King’s hotel rooms, the FBI had not been concerned with his philandering, but had been seeking conversations tying him to his Communist handlers.
I learned from Garrow that the FBI had sent King a packet with a recording and unsigned letter, calling for him to commit suicide out of shame. King’s wife had opened and played the recording but it had not fazed her in the least.
Early on, Garrow acted as if the recording were of King’s usual sexual escapades on the road. However, over the years, he has changed his tune, more recently suggesting that the recording was of the rape.
Part of Garrow’s “evolving” approach to King is his current stance, whereby he now asserts the FBI wiretapped his hotel rooms out of an obsession with his sex life.
I believe that, notwithstanding the official story, whereby King’s FBI files are under federal lock and key until 2027, due to a federal judge’s court order, Garrow has been granted continuous access to them, and is performing the job of preventing any scandal, should they ever be released to the public, by re-interpreting them and softening their blows.

OT: Steve [Sailer] you’ve probably seen this incredible discussion with David Garrow about Obama, but wonder if you have any comment, particularly since you’ve written a book about him.

N.S.: “Obama’s” homosexuality was exposed no later than 2012, by Jerome Corsi. It had been unearthed by Hillary Clinton’s oppo researchers in 2007-2008, but when she chickened out of using it, one of them eventually passed it on to Corsi, who suffered no such inhibitions.
Corsi learned that Jeremiah Wright, the preacher of the John Doe calling himself “Barack Obama” (real name Barry Soetoro), ran something called “the down-low club,” in which he matched politically ambitious, black homosexuals, like Soetoro, with unmarriageable black females, like Michelle Robinson.

I think it is alleged Warren Harding had a mistress he frequently visited. Alleged!
ReplyDeleteHow much will you bet with odds the FBI file for KKKing will never be unsealed?
They will, but only after the (Un)civil war II concludes.I'm assuming Whitey wins, unless the commies have total control of the military and police, while striking an alliance with blacks and mex.

Since when was Wm R. D. King a U.S. President? According to Wikipedia, "William Rufus DeVane King (April 7, 1786 – April 18, 1853) was an American politician and diplomat. He was the 13th vice president of the United States from March 4 until his death in April 1853."
ReplyDeleteI am mystified.
I guess Garrow has actually read the FBI transcripts of the tape recording of KKKing or he has actually heard them.
ReplyDeleteCarnal acts of an unnatural nature between two men is not homosexuality unless the two men are in love with one another. This maybe is Shia tradition only.
ReplyDeleteIf being a moral man is a requirement for being President I doubt we will have few persons able to run for the Presidency.
