    13 STATES UNDER "GRID ALERT" FRIDAY.

    Most of the East Coast and some Midwest states.What was it--2002--when that massive power failure occurred-- for two or three days--in a blistering heat--for the eastern 1/3 of the country?

    It came right up to within 80 miles of Grand Rapids,but we weren't affected.

    They never did explain why it happened.Because of their silence,I just assumed that a foreign country or radical group had shut down the system by cyberattack.Right after 9/11 and around the time anthrax was causing panic.
