Did you see the jurors who went on nnn to tell their reasons for convicting Whitey Murdaugh?
Two black women—one of them twice as fat as Lizzo, the other AS fat—sat in judgment of this White guy’s life. two blacks whom we KNOW of being on the jury—there may have been more. One White man also appeared on nnn to speak—and basically said, “Murdaugh was a lawyer, so I didn’t believe him.”
Murdaugh’s lawyer effed up during voir dire.
Would you trust a black with your client’s life? Or a White person who didn’t like lawyers?
Jeezus.

ReplyDeleteExactly, cases are won and lost at jury selection, it's seems incomprehensible that a lawyer could be stupid enough to allow blacks to judge their White client, or a black defendant the same way, but it happens. Make me think of Marcia Clark and her reasoning that a black woman on the jury would sympathize with another abused woman, not OJ. Maybe she's not stupid, but that line of reasoning is.
How was it even possible for a black person to sit in judgment over a white person? And it is not possible just as a black person would tell you a white person can I possibly sit in judgment over a black person
ReplyDeleteWell, the racial bitterness in today’s world search things are not even possible. I don’t know how to properly select a decent jury that is representative of the society as a whole it just can’t be done.
I think in the OJ case it was generally accepted by the prosecution. They had a slam dunk case so they wanted to have a lot of blacks on the jury so they could never be claimed that this was wake me and prejudice they convicted OJ, but they were wrong.
