The man was a total failure. I am sure some other big city will hire him instantly for all his "expertise".
ReplyDeleteI suppose you can make a case the situation in Chicago impossible without any sort of amelioration.
>failed former dallas pd chief David Brown resigns as chicago police
ReplyDeleteWhere did he fail? In Dallas? In Chicago? Maybe both places?
Is a 'failed pd chief' the same as a 'Democrat run city'?
Chicago has a large number of especially nasty Blacks who are so criminal they can be regarded as not compatible with civilization, so there is going to be a lot of crime there regardless of who is police chief -- maybe one year a little more, another year a little less, but ALWAYS a lot.
Cops can't prevent crime, they only show up afterward.
As shown by the BLM 'peaceful protests', it's a bad idea for a city's police command personnel to be employees who serve at the discretion of elected politicians, e.g. a mayor, or someone appointed by a mayor, maybe a city manager.
Instead a police chief ought to be more life a sheriff, a kind of constitutional officer who takes an oath to uphold the law, someone who doesn't sit below a mayor or city manager in a command hierarchy.
Since Lightfoot lost he probably knew his days were numbered.
Last sentence--exactly.
