GRA:Crude prices,at the wholesale level are in the $80-85 range--haven't moved much.So why are retail stations jacking up the price per galln?Three weeks ago,it was $3.50 a gallon--NOW $4.90.
Me thinks the CPI data--which is highly reflective of gas prices--was the target of the Biden administration--and why they artificially kept gas prices under $4.00 through September--since that month is the last month the government counts for COLA increases,to be tabulated for 2023. Call me a conspiracist,but since late September,the price for a gallon of gas is up over 30%.
If Biden could talk,he'd say it was just a coincidence.
