I had my complete hvac system replaced three months ago.
Chose to have a “dumb” thermostat installed, in place of the 25-year-old ge thermostat.
Partially, because of this mandatory tracking and remote control.
When are they cutting the air conditioning in nursing homes(or heat in the winter?)
ReplyDeleteTHAT'S the question.

ReplyDeleteYes, disconnect and unplug whenever and wherever possible. Smart cars, smart TV's, our computers, phones, smart home monitoring and shopping...they can track our every movement, everything we read, see and even eat. Already so much of the way there but it could get worse, self sufficiency and as much economic & intellectual independence as possible are the best forms of resistance.
Control you. Ninety degrees is a heat wave? I guess in Denver it is. Smart natural gas meters too. I am not sure if they can turn you natural gas on and off. And if not control you, observe you and mark you for observation in the future.
