It’s so bad here in dallas that it’s like The Grapes of Wrath, but read backwards.

Met a woman a few years ago at a local diner I frequent.

Football game on in the bar area.

Started chatting with her.

She had moved from bakersfield, california to dallas for a job.

Her family had been in california for four generations.

They had moved from texas to california during the Great Depression.

She had come full circle by moving back to dallas.

There are so many californians here now that I have seen native texans wearing t-shirts that say, “Please move back to california. We don’t want you here.”

Bigoted?

Perhaps.

But too many californians here and they will recreate the cesspool from which they left.
