Normally those motel pools have a max depth of around four feet. This was the deep end normally defined as eight feet?

ReplyDeleteVideo doesn't show her struggling in the water, just paddling around. I suppose this reinforces the stereotype that blacks can't swim, it's not like she was in some dangerous river or in the ocean, it was just a pool. She wasn't even doing some crazy stuff to perform for the camera. Maybe she had undiagnosed epilepsy or some other kind of brain event and lost motor control.
I've noticed when somebody dies taking selfies doing some kind of daredevil type stunt, it's usually a girl with a guy recording. I suspect a hot looking girl doing a handstand on top of a rock formation gets more hits than a guy doing it, so they're the one that falls 800 feet and gets killed.
