baby-killing whores hording abortion pills
“Rachel Cohen, who writes for vox, published a manifesto about abortion drugs, urging women to stock up on them just ‘in case.’ Mind you, she first started warning women to do this before Roe officially got the ax.
“‘With more in-person clinics shuttering and a supreme court that’s threatening to overturn roe v. wade, a small but growing number of reproductive experts [sic] have been encouraging discussion of an idea called ‘advance provision’ – or, more colloquially, stocking up on abortion pills in case one needs them later,’ Cohen wrote....
“Back in May, vice published a similar story about how women should stockpile stomach ulcer drugs intended for livestock in order to scientifically manipulate them into their own do-it-yourself abortion drugs....
“‘In Texas, for example, if you don’t realize until eight weeks in that you’re pregnant – which could be only a couple of weeks [sic] after a missed period – you would have already passed the state’s new legal deadline for obtaining abortion pills,’ Cohen writes.”

Medical abortion will be far harder to control than surgical abortion.
ReplyDeleteWhile they are (or are supposed to be) only available via prescription (so it's unclear how one could 'stock up' on them -- ?), and due to potential severe side effects like heavy bleeding should only be taken under medical supervision, there will no doubt be a thriving black market in misoprostol and mifepristone, the two drugs most commonly used for medical abortion.
Let us hope Rachel never reproduces. We can hope.
ReplyDeleteMorning after pill is just a super dose of birth control pills. Been around ever since birth control pills have been around.
I have often wondered why the contraceptive Norplant is not used USA. Surgically placed under your armpit and good for five years. Welfare mudders could greatly benefit from Norplant.
