Stephen Colbert addresses seven staffers' Capitol arrests
repeated google games have made it impossible to post this item as I had earlier set it up.
Stephen Colbert carved out time on Monday night's Late Show to downplay [mock] the arrests of seven of his staffers inside a Capitol Hill building and joked they committed "first-degree puppetry."
I tuned in cbs at about midnight yesterday and he had Woodward and Bernstein together again--telling the country that Trump committed,"ser-i-ous crimes for which he should be pun-ished."
ReplyDeleteYou know how he talks--a combo of Henry Fonda and Mr.Rogers.
Bernstein,fat and jolly,couldn't get a word in edgewise--in the time I watched.
They were also promoting the 50th anniversary of "All the President's Men"--with updated info.
In high school,I thought they were heroes--the movie made them look like they had saved the country, but,in retrospect, they never seemed to write exposes about Democrats--did they?
Which basically makes them Democratic fluffers.

Research? The staffers are as investigative reporters for a COMEDIAN? Late at night and allowed into the Capital by that Adam Schiff. I wonder if Adam is related somehow to Jacob Schiff long thought to have financed the Russian Revolution. Jacob purportedly gave the order to eliminate the Czar and his famblee. Colbert isn't even funny anymore. Like Lenny Bruce was at the end.
