GRA: “Tacos!”

“BURRITOS!”

“I want tacos!”

“It’s Mother’s Day—I want BURRITOS!”

(khou) James Ochoa told his mother that he and Viktoria Robles were arguing over a Mother’s Day dinner on the night before, and that Robles ran into the bedroom and grabbed a semi-automatic pistol. Ochoa then said he and Robles were “tussling” when he grabbed another one of their handguns and shot her in self-defense, investigators said.

[GRA: Good thing they had multiple weapons spread out every few feet—one on the couch, the easy chair, the dining room table, the stove, etc.]

Ochoa said he then took both of the weapons, grabbed their daughter and drove to his mom’s house.

After the mother heard what happened, she insisted that he turn himself in.

[GRA: Surprising.] He took a shower and the two of them drove together to the Cedar Park Police Department Headquarters, documents state.

Bob Newhart as cop: He-he-hello, I’m Officer Newhart, have a seat, Mrs...

Ochoa’s mom: Ochoa.

Newhart: Gezundteit.

Ochoa’s mom: I didn’t sneeze—that’s my name.

Newhart: Sorry, uhh, you brought your son to turn himself in?

Ochoa’s mom: Yes, he killed his wife.

Newhart: I see from the preliminary report, the reason he shot her was...a Mother’s Day dinner? Are-are-are you kidding me? James Ochoa: Sounds pretty stupid, the way you say it

. Newhart: The way ANYONE would say it. Okay, you can move along to homicide, thank you.
