Reminded me of a more serious incident, the only details of which I could remember were a black “teacher” stabbing an (almost certainly) White colleague 16 times with a screwdriver, after some “disagreement” during a meeting, in a town just outside NYC.
(Keep in mind that this was an “English teacher”).
Such displays of uncontrolled violence most often occur when a “colleague”—to—usually in a supervisory position – but the wrong color (the victim here) – has just reprimanded [or simply disagreed with] a subordinate, in this case some unqualified, racist, aa “teacher” with zero impulse control.
I recall reading this account in a more “mainstream” newspaper —likely the post—but as this happened over 10 years ago now, it was almost “memory holed.” One remnant of the account could be found online.

War criminal Ronette Ricketts was sentenced to only 3 1/2 years in prison
ReplyDeleteThe sentence was doubtless part of a plea deal:
Ex-Poughkeepsie teacher pleads guilty in screwdriver stabbing of colleague
Former Poughkeepsie High School teacher Ronette Ricketts, 40, pleaded guilty Friday in Dutchess County Court to attempted manslaughter for repeatedly stabbing a colleague with a screwdriver in December 2011 at the school. She had faced an attempted murder charge.
It's the way the system works -- if you pay attention, you'll notice the pattern.
Ask yourself how often you just carry a screwdriver with you. THEY do.
