  2. >We're Talking about' Deputies in 'Riot Gear'

Why is it thought 'riot gear' will be necessary? -- there is no point to anyone arriving at the border being violent -- all they have to do is say the magic word 'asylum', and their application must be considered; failure to duly consider applications for asylum would lead to lawsuits, and these lawsuits would, without a doubt, succeed.

Biden administration reimposes 'Remain in Mexico' policy -- Under court order, the Trump-era policy is being executed with new protocols.

Biden administration officials further outlined a plan for the implementation of the "MPP" or "Remain in Mexico" policy on a conference call with reporters Monday while underscoring a commitment to ending the program and describing safeguards designed to improve conditions for asylum seeking enrollees. ... A central criticism of the MPP program -- which bars asylum seekers from entering the U.S. while immigration courts review their claims -- was the lack of access to U.S. legal services for enrollees forced into makeshift Mexican border camps. Now, the Biden administration is working with legal service providers and promising 24-hour consultation windows to assist with screening interviews and immigration court cases.

These people are, and will be, getting advice and help -- as part of that, I'm sure they're being told not to be violent, or try to enter illegally -- just show up at a port of entry and apply for asylum -- there will be no violence or need for 'riot gear'.

For decades the US has used its power to do stupid and evil things around the world, as well as at home, none of which has benefited anyone, certainly not Americans ('invade the world, invite the world') -- for once the Trump administration had a chance to use American influence to do something that would definitely benefit America and Americans: force Mexico to sign a 'safe third country' agreement -- but the MAGAtard in Chief didn't get that done.

  3. Chaos piled on top of chaos. Even these ethnic Mexicans American citizens that are police, sheriff and Border Patrol are realizing what is happening. When that is the case you know it is bad.

Yeah, it is -- but the question now is: What can be done about it? -- it's time to move past throwing red meat to low info types by publicizing how bad things are, and actually do something -- and the lack of any action on the latter is why 'conservatives' are so useless -- dumb stunts like Abbott sending buses of them to Wash DC is not going to accomplish anything.
