Something Big is Happening in Ottawa this Weekend

I don’t know if y’all have heard about the Freedom Convoy that is coming to Ottawa. Actually, a whole bunch of convoys made up of lots of big rigs–some estimates of up to 50,000–and their supporters are heading to my hometown. This phenomenon was triggered by the vaccine mandate on truckers imposed by our federal government—but it’s about the government’s lockdown and suspension of rights and freedoms in general. I don’t know exactly how it came to be so huge, but it’s definitely a thing that is growing and growing. One of the organizers was even interviewed by Tucker Carlson.

Truckers from across Canada–and even from the US–will be here in Ottawa. Truckers left Vancouver, BC, on Sunday. They’re coming from the prairie provinces and the Maritimes. They are being cheered on by people standing on overpasses and along roadsides. People standing in the freaking cold and wind! Of course, I plan to go to Parliament Hill with some friends on Saturday and Sunday. Who knows how long this event will go on for!

The organizers had hoped to raise one million dollars through Go Fund Me and they now have over five million from tens of thousands of donors. It’s unbelievable.

Some of us here in the frozen reaches are hoping that this is the start of Canada’s counter-revolution against the globalists.
