Prosecution and Prejudice

Prosecution and Prejudice by Andrew C. McCarthy

At nro, former federal prosecutor Andrew C. McCarthy wrote an article on the shenanigans of "progressive prosecutors." The gist of which is left-wing, Soros DAs prosecute politically, rather than by the law.

"The fact that Rittenhouse, then 17 years old, shot and killed people was not decisive in making his prosecution a national story. More people are routinely shot in Chicago than were shot in Kenosha on that fateful night. And, though not as sedulously suppressed as news of black-on-black violence is, White-on-White violence is usually far too humdrum for the media-Democratic complex to take much notice."

David In TN: McCarthy neglects to mention that black-on-White violence is what is "sedulously suppressed."

McCarthy concludes: "In sum, we have prosecutors who won't prosecute the 'wrong' people for their crimes, and prosecutors hell-bent on prosecuting the 'right' people for what they symbolize. They tend to be the same prosecutors. And unlike rule-of-law prosecutors, what moves them is not evidence."

David In TN: A crooked, Soros-type DA will refuse to prosecute the guilty, but will prosecute an innocent man for political reasons.

N.S.: And racist, White, Legal Aid lawyers will refuse to defend their White clients who were arrested after being victimized by blacks.

Negroes shooting negroes in Chicago is dog bites man story. Not worthy of reporting. Man bites dog story is Kenosha. Worthy of reporting.
