Omicron is now 75% of cases in the US: https://www.audible.com/pd/Omicron-Now-75-Of-New-Infections-Podcast/B09NYBPGH5
About a year ago Delta appeared and quickly became 95% of cases. Whatever happened to good ole regular Covid? Did Delta make it go away or did it go away all by itself? Now is Omicron making Delta go way? It seems to me that the new variants would just add to the original and cause the aggregate numbers of people with respiratory illness to expand, but when Delta appeared the total number of people dying didn't change, the same number of people died of respiratory illnesses as the year before, they just tallied a higher percentage of Delta deaths rather than regular Covid. I'll be interested to see what the numbers are after Omicron has been out for a year or so and how they stack up to Delta and OG Covid.

And if Omicron is a milder form of Delta or the OG Covid, as we are being told, wouldn't that just be...you know...what the flu is? So mass hysteria is created, lockdowns, mandatory vaccinations and more and required "booster" shots because of the good ole' flu?

I dunno, maybe there's a lot I don't know about these bugs, so kind of thinking out loud I guess, but if somebody can enlighten me, I'm all ears.

A little something to add to the Chris Noth saga, I spotted this article on MSN: https://www.msn.com/en-us/tv/celebrity/chris-noth-sarah-jessica-parker-and-the-demand-that-women-respond-when-men-are-accused-of-abuse/ar-AAS2ha4?ocid=entnewsntp

Here is an excerpt from the article:

"Some of the public expressed horror and shock, despite reports in the 1990s that model Beverly Johnson, a woman of color, had come forward to accuse Noth of domestic violence".

So Noth battered a "woman of color", not just a, what? "A Colorless Woman"?

When was the last time you saw a news report that states a black man assaulted a white woman? Or a woman of "no color". Never seen it, and we never will, if anybody dared there would be firestorm.

Author of the article was a woman named Alia A. Dastagir. I looked up her picture and it's a White female, though likely of some kind of Arab descent. Due to that Arab ancestry thinks she isn't White and claims to be a "woman of color" and then drops little racial suggestions like the one in the article. She's delusional, but gets her writing published by MSN.
