By Eahilf Since this happened in Philadelphia, and by “this” I mean the reported lack of intervention, as well as the rape, I will mention the killing of 26 year-old Amber Long, who was brutally shot to death while walking with her mother in 2014 – today the media would probably refer to the crime as a “botched robbery,” since she was shot when she refused to surrender her purse (so there is that similarity to the Tessa Majors case: She resisted a robbery).

There is an enhanced surveillance foto of a person of interest in the following article; he’s clearly black.
The fifth anniversary of Amber Long’s slaying has come and gone and still no arrests
An account of the crime, including surveillance video:
Investigators Continue to Search for Clues in Northern Liberties Murder Mystery
The case is still unsolved. And mostly forgotten. But I remember it.
It is almost certain that someone besides the killers (more than one person was involved in the robbery) knows who is responsible – they just have not come forward with the info (“no snitch”).
Her professional profile is still up on LinkedIn, which is something I not infrequently see, but always find eerie and sad:

I wonder if the women could see the nigs very far ahead on the sidewalk--so that they could have crossed the street. In those outfits, the nigs looked like trouble.Jesse Jackson would have crossed the street,I have no doubt.
ReplyDeleteRemember Jackson saying,he didn't trust blacks walking toward him--and he's crossed the street to avoid them."
