On May 24, 1918, “the Air Service of the U.S. Army was officially formed.” It had but 35 planes, and was officially part of the U.S. Army Signal Corps.
On July 2, 1926 the U.S. Army Air Service was re-designated the U.S. Army Air Corps (USAAC).
In 1941, the U.S.A.A.C. was renamed the U.S. Army Air Forces (USAAF). It wasn’t until July 26, 1947, that the U.S. Air Force (USAF) was constituted as an independent branch of the United States military.
2021:The USAF declares after a propagandist "60 Minutes" report,they will allow blacks--who have shown a propensity for crashing stolen cars into parked vehicles or telephone poles--to fly our military jets.
