PGCE-P: There are fathers in the ‘hood?
Fatha'hood:(def):term for the act of black males,in the ghetto, who have biologically reproduced, but do not see the offspring.syn:gone daddy, ghost dad.
ReplyDeleteLots of jokes about it being,"Find Yo' Daddy Day" in the hood,Sunday.Doubt if many are successful.

Of course there are plenty of fathers there--it is just that nobody know who they are. Father's Day: the most confusing day in the hood.

ReplyDeleteReminds me of a story I once heard: A social worker was visiting the home of one of her clients, the mother had 12 children, 6 girls and 6 boys. The girls were all named Shaniqua and the boys were all named Tayshon. Confused, the social worker asked the mother - "How do they know who you're talking to you when you call them by name"? The mothers responded - "Oh, dat easy, den I just call dem by dey last names"
Most confused day in the black neighborhood. Where my daddy and who my daddy.
ReplyDeleteJerry pdx,
ReplyDeleteLast names? How the hell would she know THAT?
