Bill Cosby to walk free after court overturns sex assault conviction

N.S.: The trial judge violated his rights, by admitting testimony from earlier trials, civil and criminal. Then again, considering that judges violate Whites' rights every day, why should I care?

  1. Something about a verbal agreement with the previous prosecutor--nothing in writing,is what I read.Could be a payoff from Cosby to this other prosecutor and a story concocted.

  2. BLACK JUSTICE--COSBY TO BE RELEASED FROM PRISON AS JUDGE VACATES CONVICTION

GRA:To quote Bob Hope,"How about that?Isn't that sumpthin'?"
The conviction was supposedly overturned,as Cosby's lawyers appealed the inclusion of testimony from a previous case.Cosby served only 2 years of a 10 year sentence.
(ATP)The attorneys also argued it was “fundamentally unfair” that deposition testimony Cosby gave in a civil case regarding his use of sedative drugs and his sexual behaviors in the 1970s was heard in court.

They argue that Cosby believed the testimony was immune from prosecution when he gave it.

GRA:Time for some Jello Pudding and maybe he can host a new reality show--a sequel to his "Kids Say the Darndest Things"--called,"College Girls Say the Darndest Things".

I just spotted this one also. His conviction was overturned on this technicality:

The Pennsylvania court found that Cosby's rights were violated when he was told testimony in a civil lawsuit filed by Constand wouldn't be used to prosecute him, which it later was.

I remember when Chris Rock did a routine about OJ's conviction, or lack of. When OJ was subsequently found liable for the crime in a civil case Rock said: "What kind of "n word" law is that"? I wonder if he'll make a similar joke about this.

Here Phylicia Rashad is his biggest supporter: https://www.msn.com/en-ae/tv/news/cosby-show-costar-phylicia-rashad-celebrates-after-bill-cosbys-sexual-assault-conviction-was-overturned-finally/ar-AALDdAO
I thought she was a feminist? But since the Coz was serial raping white wimmins only and not the sista's, guess that's different.

  6. ACCORDING TO NBC,COSBY INTERESTED IN PERFORMING A ONE MAN SHOW;WHAT HIS COMEBACK MIGHT SOUND LIKE

"Good evening y'all and welcome to the ' black Laffhouse',I'm your emcee,Hilarious Jacquarious and tonight,we have a legend--who was just released, after three years--from what they call the "bend over motel",a man who needs no introduction, because if we did do something like that, half the women here would leave--and the other half would proposition him--let's have a black Laffhouse welcome for the one,the only--Bill Cosby!!!"

    (blacks applaud loudly)
"Nooo,I don't want no damn Jello Pudding(laughs). But I would like a nice comfy chair to sit on.Thank you. Being in prison, somehow made me develop hemorrhoids.
    (laughs)
"Good to be with a live audience again--instead of a captive one.The difference between the two is,with a captive audience, you don't make any MONEY!

I had some time the last 2 1/2 years or so,to work on some new material. You want to hear some?Me too--now I just have to remember it."
    (moderate laughs)

    "That was the first joke."
    (more laughs)

"Okay,I have a few tips for any of you who might be going to prison soon--and from what I can see,it might be all of you."
    (black crowd cheers)

In fact, that's the only piece of advice you need to know when you go to prison--no wait, there IS one other one item I almost forgot-- make sure you're 83 years old too--no further explanation is necessary. Why,asks the person in the front row?Sir,you haven't had enough to drink to hear me explain why.Okay, here's the explanation.
    (laughs,applause)
" black prisoners will (bleep)anything that's in the vicinity of 98.6 degrees Farenheit and breathing--EXCEPT... if you're over 80.We get a pass."

    (crowd applauds)
"So I got released Thursday. My wife,Camille, was happy to see me when I got back home--that's why I have this large bandaid on the top of my head.black people call that a love tap,you know--with a 14" frying pan,

Ha ha, hilarious as usual GRA. Remember the old Cosby routine "To Russell, my Brothers I slept with"? It should be on Youtube for free but while I've never been a big fan of Cosby's standup (too much misogyny and his underlying arrogance was offputting) it was a pretty funny bit. I'm thinking it could be updated to reflect his prison experience, maybe re titled "To Bubba, my cellmate who wanted to F with me"

I remember going to Reno with my folks way back in the 70's and Cosby used to hang out at one of the casino's there, us kids couldn't get in so our parents left us to our own devices (hey, it was the 70's) but when they got back they'd talk about seeing Bill Cosby. He didn't really mingle with the regular folks but even then they noticed how arrogant he was, spent most of his time sitting in the celeb section smoking a cigar looking down on all the little White people gambling away. When his sitcom came on in the 80's I knew that friendly, fatherly image he presented was a facade. He was really an insufferable arrogant ass, and a serial rapist to boot. I was hoping he'd die in prison.
