Curt Schilling, the former pitcher who should be a shoo-in for the HOF, has requested his name be removed from the ballot: https://www.foxnews.com/sports/bbwaa-responds-to-curt-schillings-request-to-be-removed-from-2022-hall-of-fame-ballot

He’s pointing out the voting can be politically biased against conservatives like him. One would hope that the HOF would be better than that, but clearly they are not.

N.S.: At 71.1% last year, Curt Schilling stood a very good chance of being voted in (he only needed to make it to 75%). Now he says he wants to wait for the Veterans Committee to vote him in, because they’re his peers.

Curt Schilling may well have political aspirations. Like President Trump, he’s a loudmouth with a populist side and a PC side.

Several years ago, when he was working a game for espn, he went on a pro-gay rant, along the lines of “It shouldn’t matter what one does in one’s private life.” Next thing you know, he’s in trouble for being anti-pc.

  1. None of this matters anymore--start a conservative HOF.

  2. Can't be a partial PC'er,I guess. You must be a 100% supporter of sickos or suffer the consequences.

Mostly what people don't like about gays is their enjoyment in making a scene, an exhibition of their life style, etc. They make horses asses of themselves. Figuratively and literally.
