So, 'You can watch GWTW again, but only after you pay us, and we ruin your viewing pleasure with our racist lies.' And this story is itself full of racist lies: "National protests"? You mean racist, coast-to-coast riots. "Against racism and deaths of African Americans at the hands of police"? More racist lies. Just like the disclaimer.

Rhett and Scarlett are back on HBO Max, along with some criticism of slavery and race relations in the South that was missing from "Gone with the Wind."
HBO pulled the film classic "Gone with the Wind" from its new streaming service two weeks ago in the wake of national protests against racism and deaths of African Americans at the hands of police. At the time HBO said it needed to add "historical context."
The new version includes a 4-1/2 minute introduction from Turner Classic Movie's Jacqueline Stewart, professor of cinema and film studies at the University of Chicago.
She calls the film "one of most enduringly popular films of all time," as she points out that when adjusted for inflation it has the largest box office ever. She calls it "a film of undeniable cultural significance."
But she also points out that the film fed racist stereotypes of the time, showing Black slaves and servants as either devoted to their white masters or as incompetent, while denying "the horrors of slavery, as well as its legacies of racial inequality."

In the introduction Stewart says that there were protests about the film going back the announcement of the original production, and that despite assurances from the film's producer that it would be sensitive to concerns of African Americans it presents "the Antebellum South as a world of grace and beauty without acknowledging the brutalities of the system of chattel slavery upon which this world is based."
Stewart, who is African American, points out that the film's Black cast members were barred from its Atlanta premiere because of Georgia's Jim Crow segregation laws at the time. And Hattie McDaniel, who won an Academy Award for playing the servant Mammy, the first Black American to win the award, was not allowed to sit with the other cast members at the Oscars ceremony in Los Angeles.
"Watching 'Gone With the Wind' can be uncomfortable, even painful," says Stewart. "Still, it is important that classic Hollywood films are available to us in their original form for viewing and discussion."
"It is not only a document of Hollywood's racist practices of the past, but also an enduring work of popular culture that speaks directly to the racial inequalities that persist in media and society today."
HBO Max also included a second feature, an hour-long panel discussion filmed at the Turner Classic Movies film festival in April of 2019, entitled "The complicated legacy of Gone with the Wind." Both HBO and TCM are owned by Warner Media, a unit of AT&T, as is CNN.
[N.S.: There is no "complicated legacy" of GWTW.]

  1. And so... all twenty people who didn't see the film before it was deemed "racist" will need to be indoctrinated first. Newsflash; they're ALREADY indoctrinated...

  2. There needs to be massive white reaction to every individual attempt by each corporation to stifle, strongarm or punitively destroy our rights. If CEOs want to crumble to BLM demands and threats, maybe they'd react the same way to white demands- not brought as individuals--but as a powerful group.
I've said it for a long time on here,pro-white organizations are as scarce as Halley's comet and we need to have at least one with a membership in the millions.
To be able to have a spokesman for a future pro-white group--let's call it WANT(WHITES AGAINST NEGRO TAKEOVER)-- step up to a microphone and say,"Target,we will not tolerate your treatment of whites--you are BOYCOTTED until you hire back all white personnel who have been removed for saying,'all lives matter' ."
"NBC,you are not bringing us fair, unbiased, honest news--WANT will boycott AND protest at your headquarters. We will fill social media with your lies and call for an investigation by the FCC to have your license taken away--unless prevaricators like Lester Holt are removed. We WANT him out."
WANT could be everything whites need to fight back against the tsunami that's at our doorstep.
The only question I have is,how can it be done? Some wealthy, white patriot has to step forward to be our second George Washington or Thomas Jefferson. Is there anyone out there?
It won't be Breitbart,it appears.I was banned two days ago by that supposed conservative site for expressing post-white sentiments.

  3. LEBRON JAMES IS DOING WHAT WHITES NEED TO DO--START A NEW MEDIA COMPANY
    (Zerohedge)
NBA star LeBron James and his business partner Maverick Carter have raised $100 million for their newly created entertainment firm, The SpringHill Company.

Bloomberg reported James and Carter received a cash infusion from global investment and financial services firm Guggenheim Partners LLC, UC Investments, News Corp. heir Elisabeth Murdoch, and SC.Holdings, the investment fund managed by entrepreneur Jason Stein.

The firm's board consists of Carter, Serena Williams, Murdoch, Marc Rowan, co-founder of private equity firm Apollo Global Management, Live Nation Entertainment CEO Michael Rapino, Minerd, Paul Wachter, who is James' wealth manager, and Tom Werner, chairman of the Boston Red Sox and English soccer club Liverpool.

GRA:White traitors I assume, the Murdochs,Tom Werner and others listed above--looking out for their pocketbooks and image with blacks. What a group of devils.

The SpringHill Company is a consolidation of James' marketing firm Robot Co. and several entertainment companies, including SpringHill Entertainment and Uninterrupted LLC. SpringHill Entertainment is the company behind the production of the upcoming sequel to "Space Jam."

The company is described "as a media company with an unapologetic agenda: a maker and distributor of all kinds of content that will give a voice to creators and consumers who've been pandered to, ignored, or underserved," Bloomberg noted.

  4. Appropriate title for the general plan that HBO is initiating--taking away the rights of whites to watch what they want.
