GRA: The same number of arrests as the previous night, when over 5,000 rioters swarmed downtown Grand Rapids like African (and antifa) ants. The rioters moved east to Lansing Sunday night, where break-ins were reported at banks and stores.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — It appears most people are following a curfew imposed after a Saturday night riot in Grand Rapids.

Since 7 p.m. Sunday, News 8 has seen seven arrests. The first six arrests happened at Rosa Parks Circle within the first 30 minutes of the curfew. The seventh arrest was a young man who rode his bike at barriers where police were standing.

This curfew is being strictly enforced. There are barriers throughout the city and windows are boarded up. In addition, there are undercover officers in alleys, and authorities are on bikes and horses.

GRA: Curfew worked here, in one of the few places in the United States it did to this effect. Bigger cities around the country—not so lucky.

  1. "The first six arrests happened at Rosa Parks Circle"

Rosa Parks Circle sorta like Martin Luther King Dr. A place to stay away from. A new one of me but it makes sense. That is where the colored live.

  2. Well they put in this circular area,in the middle of downtown, where you can ice skate or rollerskate--and called it Rosa Parks Circle.Downtown used to be the place to be 40 years ago--then the suburbs called the businesses away to less criminal areas. It took 25 years, but the blacks have come out there too.
Currently,RPC is not any worse than most areas of town, but you should never go anywhere in 80 % of GR after dark--RPC included.
