R.C.: Is the corona virus a bioweapon?

Or are Chinese themselves bioweapons?

  1. This really is frightening. This would incident does [?] indicate bio warfare is being carried out by the Chinese. Why would anyone try to smuggle such deadly substances into another country??

  2. Testing defenses perhaps? In a time of crisis, what they can catch, what methods do they use, etc. A reconnaissance.

  3. GRA'S coverage of baseball 2020.
In lieu of the real season,I'll occasionally blog a story of the NY Mets 2020 season--to give our moderator Mr.Stix, his baseball fix.
METS KICK OFF SEASON WITH AMAZING LOSS
Jacob DeGrom thought he had a lock victory tonight,on opening day, versus the Washington Nationals--instead it became a loss for the record books, the biggest comeback in the history of baseball with one out to go.
DeGrom's stuff was outstanding for this season opener, retiring the first 24 batters in order(16 of them on strike outs),while his teammates racked up 5 multi-run innings to take an 18-0 lead into the ninth.
Pete Alonso clubbed a grand slam and Robinson Cano turned back the clock with two 3 run shots.
The only drama appeared to be the completion of a perfect game.
When Asdrubel Cabrera and Howie Kendrick were retired easily to start the ninth, the home crowd rose to watch NY Met history, but instead, new manager Luis Rojas was called out to the mound by DeGrom--apparently,the 8 2/3 innings pitched his first time out,had opened a nasty blister on his pitching finger.
Unable to continue,DeGrom was replaced by Dellin Betances, who proceeded to walk the bases loaded and then give up a grand slam to Ryan Zimmerman.
There would be three more grand slams hit by Zimmerman that inning, the final blow off Jeurys Familia to give the Nationals a 19-18 lead.
The Mets went in order,in the bottom of the ninth,to end an amazin' game.
Rojas was fired afterwards and replaced by Pete Rose as interim manager, who was then fired and replaced by Pete Alonso.
"We didn't mean to name Pete Rose--wrong Pete--we meant Pete Alonzo,"said GM Brody Van Wagenen.
A shocked Alonzo said he'll try to be a good manager while he plays first base, though he's never managed a game in his life.
Max Scherzer will face Noah Syndergaard on Wednesday in game two of the season, temporarily delayed a week by bad weather.
It should be an interesting game.

  5. METS RAINED OUT WITH 12 RUN LEAD,ALONSO FIRED.
GRA:Game two of the NY Mets faux season was as bizarre as the first one was Tuesday, with the Mets having their hitting shoes on against Washingtion Nationals ace Max Scherzer from the first pitch. The Mets batted around in the first inning, added 3 runs in the 2nd and 3rd innings to take a 12 run lead on a beautifully sunny day at Shea Stadium. But almost impossibly, clouds gathered literally and figuratively ,when with two outs in the top of the 5th,a squall line came crashing through with high winds, lightning and 2 inches of rain in 15 minutes. After talking with the National Weather Service, umpires called the game, one out before it became official--meaning no Mets win.
Immediately afterwards,player/manager Pete Alonzo was fired by GM Brody Van Wagenen for failing to bring home a victory.
"I made it clear to Pete that if he didn't win the game on Wednesday,he would be replaced. He didn't win--so I fired him. This will be the criteria of all subsequent managers I hire from here on out--you win,you stay--you lose, you're fired."
Van Wagenen replaced Alonzo with Trump personal lawyer and former mayor,Rudy Giuliani.
"Pete should have known that scoring 12 runs would take too much time and cause the game to be wiped out.Hopefully,Coach Giuliani will learn from Pete's mistake."
Game time tomorrow is scheduled for 1:15 pm,weather permitting.Starters are to be announced.
