Coronavirus Death Rate--Lower or Higher than Previously Suspected?

"Coronavirus Death Rate May be Lower than Previously Suspected."
N.S.: This report is Pollyannaish. I know of individual NYC nursing homes, in which two patients per day are dying, almost certainly of Chinese Virus, none of whom is being classified as such, because none of them is being tested. Granted, they are old people, but counting them would considerably inflate the death rate.

COVID-19: Good News vs. Agenda
Just a quick note to share with you some good news about the Wuhan coronavirus, as well as how the virus is being used to further the globalist agenda.
If you haven't seen the interview between former Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Dr. Vladmir Zelenko, please carve out some time to do so. It's a long one, so we'll take you right to an imperative part.
More good news! Johnson & Johnson announced that a vaccine is in the works and will be ready for trial in September. We'll need to be vigilant to ensure it does not become mandatory.
As you continue to share information, here are a few articles that give evidence that this crisis is being used to forward the globalist agenda of creating more tyranny through crushing layers of government.
Gordon Brown Calls for New Global Gov. to Fight Impact of Covid-19
Corona to Communism? Mayor Threatens to Shut Down Churches
Continue to forward these especially to state legislators and ask how they will be protecting your rights. We're working on a specific alert for you to use, which should be hopefully ready to go late Wednesday. Please be sure to check our COVID-19 Overreach page where it will be posted.
As more and more local and state governments shut down their vital economic infrastructure, continue reviewing your state constitution and quote the declaration or bill of rights found in all state constitutions. Tell your local and state officials there is no emergency loophole for your rights. Governments are instituted to protect rights and that's the role your state legislators must fulfill.
Stay safe and God bless!

California System releases COVID-19 speech codes
The University of California System released a "guidance document" telling students and faculty how they should talk about the coronavirus pandemic. "Do not," warns the policy, "use terms such as 'Chinese Virus'" or "revert to unkind discussions about people, individuals or groups who may not be in your immediate social circle." If enforced, such restrictions would violate the public university system's constitutional obligations.
New campus free speech orientation program materials
FIRE and First Amendment Watch have developed a series of modules for universities to utilize during freshman orientation, first-year seminars, and other campus programming to teach new college students about their rights and about common free speech issues they may encounter during their time in school.
ProctorU threatens UC Santa Barbara faculty
At the University of California, Santa Barbara, faculty members' skepticism about the use of the online testing tool ProctorU was answered with a bombastic letter from the company's lawyer, invoking the specter of civil and criminal consequences. Colleges would be wise to consider how ProctorU responds to criticism before implementing the tool within their communities.

The Government Employee Who May Have Saved a Million American Lives

The Government Employee Who May Have Saved a Million American Lives, by Ron Unz
Dr. Sarah Cody. That’s the name of a local government employee probably unknown to almost everyone reading this. Yet I think there’s a good chance that a million or more Americans will owe her their lives. And therein lies a tale…
Last Tuesday President Donald Trump announced that he expected to lift most health restrictions recently imposed due to the Coronavirus epidemic and send the country back to work by Easter, a possibility that shocked and horrified nearly all mainstream health professionals.
No need to worry, I said. I predicted that the exponentially-growing Coronavirus death toll in his home city of New York would have reached such horrifying levels by Easter that his Wall Street friends would persuade him to “pivot” away from such a foolhardy proposal.
At the time I made that prediction, Coronavirus deaths in New York were running at around 50 per day, and they soon jumped to 140 per day, then reached 209 in a 24-hour period by Saturday. Wall Street Wizards are quite familiar with exponential growth, the fundamental basis of compound-interest, and presumably they began to notice what was happening outside their own windows. So on Saturday, Trump announced that rather than any relaxation, he was instead considering an unprecedented federal quarantine of the entire State of New York as well as adjoining parts of of New Jersey and Connecticut, though he later backed down under fierce pressure. Just five days had made all the difference in the world.
The unimaginable human disaster now facing our country has several obvious roots. Our oceans had protected our home front from any attack during the two world wars while modern medicine had rendered disease epidemics a fading memory for three generations. Our arrogant and incompetent national leadership simply could not comprehend the possibility that their missteps might actually kill hundreds of thousands or millions of Americans. Moreover, our mainstream media was equally oblivious, and even if they had sounded the alarm, they had hysterically cried wolf so many times about so many ridiculous things that nobody would have taken them seriously.
But an important contributing factor is surely the inability of most individuals to grasp the unusual dynamics of an exponentially-growing process. In such a situation, seemingly insignificant delays can have enormous consequences.
Let us consider a very simple example in which two similar cities each happen to have 1,000 Coronavirus infections, with a doubling-period of 3 days.
Suppose that the first city immediately implements a complete lock-down, thereby drastically reducing the spread of the disease, and then uses that window of opportunity to track down and temporarily quarantine all the infected. Assuming a 1% death rate, 10 total fatalities will result.
Now suppose the second city takes exactly the same approach, but merely delays implementing the policy for a single week. During that lost week, the number of infected will grow to 5,000, and the resulting five-fold increase in cases requiring hospitalization may overwhelm the local health care system, thereby increasing the death rate to 5%. The result is 250 fatalities. So the delay of a single week has increased the death toll by a factor of 25.
I live in Palo Alto, and every now and then I see a squirrel wander into the middle of a street, then remain frozen in fear as an approaching car bears down upon him. Almost invariably, the squirrel leaps away to the nearby pavement at the last moment, saving its life. But occasionally I have noticed the remains of a youthful squirrel who did not react in time.
For a month or two, our national government and its top health officials seemed similarly paralyzed with horror as they began to recognize the oncoming locomotive of a deadly disease rapidly approaching them. But during this crucial period, they did little or nothing and vast numbers of Americans may die as a consequence.
The Coronavirus is extremely contagious and once it has significantly established itself within a community, the only effective means of halting the rapid spread is through a full social lock-down. This approach had been especially necessary in America, given our woeful lack of adequate testing capabilities.
China completely locked down and quarantined the city of Wuhan at a point when only 300 detected infections and 17 deaths had occurred, thereby strictly confining all 11 million residents to their homes. Not long afterward, similar measures were applied to the 60 million residents of the surrounding province of Hubei, and later extended to include some 700 million Chinese across the country, a medical quarantine perhaps a thousand times larger than any such previous effort in human history.
These remarkable Chinese actions shocked and astonished many observers around the world, certainly including myself. But they succeeded brilliantly, and China seems to have almost entirely stamped out the deadly disease at the final cost of just a few thousand deaths. Millions perhaps even tens of millions of Chinese owe their lives to the decisiveness of their bold and courageous national leadership.
China and America have different political systems, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. The ruling Chinese Communist Party can impose by immediate fiat national policies that are almost unimaginable under America’s Constitutional system, and order these implemented at speeds that seem impossible to us.
I was aware of no precedent in modern American history for locking down a major city for health reasons, an action that appeared completely contrary to our widespread notions of civil liberties and constitutional rights. Moreover, during January and February various anti-China pundits had had a field day attacking and vilifying “totalitarian China” for shutting down its entire economy and confining so many hundreds of millions of its citizens to their own homes, thus rendering it seemingly impossible for any American political leader to propose similar measures.
With so little testing and a three week lag-time between infection and death, only the tiniest sliver of the gigantic Coronavirus iceberg bearing down on the U.S.S. America was visible to the public, and our insouciant mainstream media paid almost no attention to this terrible oncoming danger. Therefore, I regarded it as almost inconceivable that America’s dysfunctional government would take such difficult steps quickly enough to halt the spread of the disease before it became fully endemic and uncontrollable.
My own Santa Clara County was then the national epicenter of the Coronavirus outbreak, and the local morning newspapers carried more and more indications of its rapid, almost invisible spread, with a couple of firefighters testing positive one day and a few TSA workers found infected the next. I assumed this pattern of reports would continue and grow exponentially until California was entirely submerged by the rapidly approaching tsunami wave of disease.
But then on Monday, March 16th a miracle occurred. With no prior warning or public discussion, Santa Clara County Public Health Officer Dr. Sarah Cody and her counterparts from five other SF Bay Area counties announced that they had issued a “Shelter in Place” order, their somewhat euphemistic term for a full regional lock-down. Effective at midnight and lasting three weeks all non-essential businesses would be closed, all large public gatherings prohibited, and all residents required to spend their time at home, with certain reasonable exceptions. This directive covered seven million California residents. If anything similar had ever happened in American history, I’m certainly unaware of it.
My own sense of relief was enormous and I suspect very widely shared since I did not hear a single word of criticism from any source. Instead, a day or two later huge Los Angeles County adopted a similar policy, and a couple of days afterward, Gov. Gavin Newsom extended the order to the entire state. Health officials had warned him that without such prompt action, more than 25 million Californians could become infected over the following couple of months, probably producing a million deaths. So 40 million Californians joined the lock-down.
New York, Illinois, and numerous other states soon implemented similar policies, so that well over 200 million Americans are now following the trail blazed by Dr. Cody and her colleagues, “sheltering-in-place” to block the spread of the Coronavirus.
But in any exponential process of disease propagation, timing makes all the difference in the world. Last month, my own Santa Clara County was the American center of the epidemic, while the first New York death did not even occur until March 14th. But our lock-down came several days before that of New York, and as demonstrated above, a week’s delay can easily raise the relative death toll by a factor of 25, or perhaps far more if a local outbreak becomes uncontrollable. Based upon the data I’ve seen, I hope that Santa Clara County can escape with just a few hundred fatalities, while I fear that the death toll in New York may be in the many tens of thousands or even higher.
At this stage, no one can easily predict how many Americans may die from the Coronavirus by early summer, and perhaps some miracle drug will come along quickly enough to change the situation. But otherwise I think the epidemic may eventually produce the greatest death toll of any event in our entire national history. Yet whatever the final figure, that total would have been vastly greater without the wave of rolling lock-downs launched by the SF Bay Area counties two weeks ago.
Politicians are a timorous lot, rarely willing to take the lead on highly controversial decisions. Once Santa Clara County and its neighbors had locked down their populations with absolutely no political backlash, the rest of California and America felt confident enough to quickly follow. But if Dr. Cody had not taken that decision, any national lock-downs might have been delayed for week or two, while every week’s delay might have raised the death-toll by a considerable factor. I think there’s a good likelihood that Santa Clara County Public Health Officer Dr. Sarah Cody may have saved a million or more American lives, probably more than anyone else in our entire national history.
My own impression of this historic event is probably not unique. Even as I was finalizing this piece on Sunday, I discovered that half the front page of my local San Jose Mercury News was devoted to the story of Dr. Cody and her crucial decision, with the story appropriately entitled “The Doctor Who Shut It All Down.”
Under a decaying and decadent political system, there is often a dangerous tendency to select public officials based upon ideological factionalism or the blandishments of self-interested lobbies. During normal times, this may lead to the sort of inefficiency and corruption that saps the strength of a society, but during a severe crisis, survival itself may be at risk. Until a couple of weeks ago, I had never even heard of Dr. Sarah Cody, but I am greatly relieved that my local officials are appointed based upon the highest standards of meritocratic competence. The contrast with America’s national government could not be greater.

Coronavirus: How "Progressive" Ideology Led to Catastrophe in Spain
https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/15821/coronavirus-spain-ideology
The Spanish government, comprised of a coalition of Socialists and Communists, is facing legal action for alleged negligence in its handling of the coronavirus pandemic. The government is accused of putting its narrow ideological interests ahead of the safety and wellbeing of the public, and, in so doing, unnecessarily worsening the humanitarian crisis now gripping Spain, currently the second-worst afflicted country in Europe after Italy.
A class action lawsuit filed on March 19 accuses the Spanish government — highly ideological by any standard, as the Communist coalition partner, Podemos, was founded with seed money from the Venezuelan government — of knowingly endangering public safety by encouraging the public to participate in more than 75 feminist marches, held across Spain on March 8, to mark International Women's Day. The nationwide rallies were aimed at protesting the government's perennial bugbear: the alleged patriarchy of Western civilization.
Hundreds of thousands of people participated in those marches, and several high-profile attendees — including Spain's deputy prime minister, as well as the prime minister's wife and mother, and also the wife of the leader of Podemos — have since tested positive for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). It is unknown how many people were infected by the coronavirus as a result of the rallies.

Tony Joe White, who has died from a heart attack aged 75, grew up in rural Louisiana and was nicknamed “the Swamp Fox” due to his ability to write songs that conveyed the humidity, idiosyncrasies and tensions of the US south.
The best known of these was Rainy Night in Georgia, which gained global recognition not through his own version but via a cover in 1970 from Brook Benton, followed by a number of other popular interpretations over the years, by artists from Ray Charles to Randy Crawford and Rod Stewart.
In fact his swamp songs proved surprisingly universal, and were recorded by everyone from Elvis Presley and Tina Turner to Dusty Springfield and Rory Gallagher. When his career was flagging in the 1980s, Turner brought his song Steamy Windows to wider attention as a Top 20 hit in various countries, and also used three of his other compositions on her highly successful 1989 album, Foreign Affair.
White was born into a farming family, the seventh son of Virgie (nee Andrews) and Charlie White, in Oak Grove, a small town in north-eastern Louisiana, and he grew up harvesting cotton and corn. A keen interest in music, especially the blues his African-American neighbours played, found White, upon graduating from high school, playing Texan honky-tonks where he recalled “the beer bottles would get to flying”.
In 1967 he was working as a dump truck driver for the local authority in Marietta, Georgia, and while doing so heard Bobbie Gentry’s groundbreaking 1967 hit Ode to Billie Joe. This inspired him to write songs about southern life and one of the first was Polk Salad Annie, a wry rocker about “a girl that I swear to the world/ would make the alligators look tame”.
White guessed he had something and, in late 1967, drove to Nashville. There he parked up and walked into the first music publisher’s office he came across. They asked him what kind of music he made and he replied, “well, it’s kind of swampy”. Directed across the road to Combine Music, the publisher of Dolly Parton and Kris Kristofferson, its head, Bob Beckham, recognised in White a maverick talent. Beckham suggested that Monument Records, the label that had made Roy Orbison famous, should sign White – and they did.

While his 45s initially failed to chart in the US – although Soul Francisco was a hit in France – White was certain that Polk Salad Annie had potential, as southern audiences loved the song. For almost a year the single’s momentum built as local radio stations played it, but it took a major Los Angeles radio station to add it to their playlist for White to get his break – Polk Salad Annie reached No 8 on the US pop charts in July 1969, his only US Top 40 hit. Presley, recognising a kindred spirit, began performing it in concert. White capitalised by releasing his debut album, Black and White, in 1969.
He quickly followed with ... Continued (1969) and Tony Joe (1970), albums that showcased his drawling delivery and natural talents as a storyteller. Yet from now on it would be other singers who scored with White songs: Benton’s recording of Rainy Night became a huge international hit, and the song is now a contemporary standard.
In 1970 White had his sole UK Top 40 hit when Groupie Girl got to No 22, and he made his debut in Britain that year at the Isle of Wight festival in front of a huge, enthusiastic audience. Thereafter he regularly appeared in the UK, his laconic personality treating each performance, no matter how grand the venue, as if he were playing on his back porch.
White’s talent and handsome features meant many saw him as a potential superstar, and Warner Brothers signed him, pairing him with top producers (Peter Asher, Tom Dowd, Jerry Wexler) for three excellent albums. Yet the albums failed to sell – in the US they were too white for black radio, too black for white radio – and White found himself in a conundrum. He released only one more album that decade, and two in the 80s. None of them was successful.
However, in 1988 Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits asked White if he had any songs that might suit Turner. She went on to include four of White’s originals on Foreign Affair, the title track of which was also a White composition. The album, on which White played guitar and harmonica, sold more than six million copies and Roger Davies, Turner’s manager, signed White to his management stable. He immediately got him a recording contract with Polydor’s European arm, then raised his profile by getting him to contribute songs to, and perform with, musicians such as Eric Clapton and Joe Cocker.
Although now more popular in Europe – especially France – than the US, White continued to live in Nashville, to tour widely (always accompanied only by a drummer) and to release albums of strong new material. In 2014 he performed at the Glastonbury festival, and subsequent interest saw the release of a double CD compilation, Swamp Fox: The Definite Collection 1968-1973 (2015). His final album, Bad Mouthin’, was released this year and found White interpreting the blues songs that had inspired him as a youth.
He is survived by his wife, Leann, whom he married in 1964, and by their three children, Jody, Jim Bob and Michelle.

Tony Joe White reigned supreme as one of the true masters of get-down funky bluesy swamp rock music. The singer/songwriter/guitarist was born on July 23, 1943. He was the youngest of seven children who grew up on a cotton farm near Oak Grove, Louisiana. White first began performing music at school dances. Following graduation from high school Tony Joe went on to perform in night clubs in Texas and Louisiana. White went to Nashville in 1968. He had a big hit with his classic hard-stomping song "Polk Salad Annie." Tony Joe had modest country hits with "The Lady in My Life" and "We Belong Together." Brook Benton scored a substantial success with his moving and soulful rendition of White's beautiful "Rainy Night in Georgia." Among the artists who have recorded Tony Joe's songs are Dusty Springfield, Ray Charles, Wilson Pickett, George Jones, Hank Williams, Jr., Waylon Jennings, Jerry Reed, Jessi Colter, and Elvis Presley (the King of Rock'n'Roll sings "Polk Salad Annie" in the rock concert documentaries "Elvis on Tour" and "Elvis: That's the Way It Is").
In 1989 White wrote four songs for and played both guitar and harmonica on Tina Turner's "Foreign Affair" album. Tony Joe toured with such groups as Steppenwolf, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Sly and the Family Stone. He did jingles for McDonald's and Levi's 501 Blues jeans. White composed the scores for the made-for-TV film "Living Straight" and the musical Shakespearean rock opera "Catch My Soul" (he also played Cassio in this latter picture). A huge cult favorite in Europe, Tony Joe continued to record albums on his own Swamp Records label and performed in concerts all over the world. White died at age 75 on October 24, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Brook Benton: “Rainy Night in Georgia” (1970)
Brook Benton, IMDB Biography
Born September 19, 1931 in Camden, South Carolina, USA
Died April 9, 1988 in New York City, New York, USA (spinal meningitis)
Birth Name Benjamin Franklin Peay
Mini Bio (1)
Singer/songwriter Brook Benton was born Benjamin Franklin Peay on September 19, 1931, in Camden, South Carolina. He became a gospel singer at a young age and was a member of the Camden Jubilee Singers. Benton moved to New York City at age 17 in 1948 to try his luck as a songwriter. When he first arrived in New York he sang with such gospel groups as Bill Langford's Spiritual Singers, The Langfordaires, The Golden Gate Quartet, and The Jerusalem Stars. He eventually went back to South Carolina, drove a truck for a while and joined the R&B singing group The Sandmen prior to returning to New York again in search of a big break. This time Benton found a successful career co-producing albums and writing songs for such artists as Nat 'King' Cole, Clyde McPhatter (he penned the hit song "A Lover's Question" for McPhatter), and Roy Hamilton.
Benton enjoyed his first minor hit with "A Million Miles from Nowhere." He then switched to Mercury Records and achieved his greatest commercial success recording a steady string of hit songs with that label (he frequently collaborated with producer/songwriter Clyde Otis while at Mercury). In 1959 Brook scored two major breakthrough successes: "It's Just A Matter of Time" peaked at #3 on the Billboard charts and "Endlessly" went all the way to #12 on the charts. Benton sustained this winning streak with such equally excellent tunes as "Thank You Pretty Baby," "So Many Ways," "Hotel Happiness," "The Boll Weevil Song," and "Kiddio." "Baby (You've Got What It Takes)" and "A Rockin' Good Way (To Mess Around and Fall in Love)," his two delightful duets with Dinah Washington, were both Top 10 hits in 1960. Brook cracked the Top 10 one last time in 1970 with a beautifully moving rendition of Tony Joe White's lovely ballad "Rainy Night in Georgia." He remained a popular concert performer throughout the 1980s.
Benton died at the tragically young age of 56 from spinal meningitis in New York City on April 9, 1988. He was survived by his wife Mary and four children.

Jewish Matchmaker Joke
By An Old Friend
Mon, Mar 30, 2020 6:54 p.m.
The late columnist William Safire liked to tell the chestnut from the 1950s about Princess Margaret and the matchmaker. As Safire recounted: “A Jewish matchmaker had the idea of matching up poor Sammy—a nebbish and a schlemiel—with Princess Margaret, then the world’s most eligible woman. Sammy’s mother would not hear of it: The Princess could not cook, and was not Jewish. After weeks of persuading, with the matchmaker showing how the alliance with British royalty would help Israel, the mother gave her grudging approval. The matchmaker heaved a sigh of relief and said, ‘Now for the hard part.’”

The matchmaker heaved a sigh of relief and said, ‘Now for the hard part.’”

The Grim Sleeper and the Westside Rapist
By David in TN
Mon, Mar 30, 2020 12:45 a.m.
The Grim Sleeper (Lonnie Franklin) killed only black women in South Central, mainly prostitutes or drug users.
The Westside Rapist (John Floyd Thomas) killed elderly white women who lived alone.
The LAPD was hunting for The Grim Sleeper and conducted a DNA sweep of LA sex offenders. In 2009 they snared Thomas, instead of Franklin. In 2010, they tried familial DNA and finally caught Franklin.
Ironically, without the push to find the Grim Sleeper, Thomas may not have been caught.
N.S.: But without "the community's" support for black cut-throats, five or six black serial killers would not have been able to simultaneously operate undisturbed in L.A. for years on end.

A Conservative's Plan for Winning Back the House
By An Old Friend
By Derek Hunter
March 29, 2020 12:01:00 A.M.
Given how Democrats have conducted themselves with control over just one half of one branch of government, the thought that they could retain that control, let alone gain more in November, is horrifying. Imagine the people who insisted on inserting cronyism into a bill designed to save the economy from collapse having the power to implement the entirety of their agenda. There would be no pulling up from that nosedive. That is why it’s important not only to retain the Senate and the White House but to retake the House as well.
That, as most things in politics are, is much easier said than done.
Trying to win races across the country as a challenger is hard enough, but in a time of quarantines and social distancing, it seems nearly impossible. It is not impossible. It is imperative.
So how do we do it? There’s a simple plan we conservatives can adopt to greatly improve our chances: adopt a district.
I live in Maryland, a deep blue state gerrymandered to the point that no House district is truly competitive. In 2011 Democrats did all they could to eliminate Republican members of Congress, successfully wiping two of three out of existence. They only didn’t eliminate the last one because they couldn’t. There are too many Republicans to spread them everywhere and make the whole state’s delegation blue, so they put as many as they could in one district. Still, to leftists, one GOP Member is better than three, especially when every Democrat is safe.
The reality in Maryland, and likely where you live too, is that no effort, no amount of money, is going to flip one of those other districts. Working on campaigns there, or donating money, is a waste of time. So don’t do it.
Yes, Republicans put up candidates; those candidates raise money and recruit volunteers, generally people who live there, and put up a fight. But they don’t stand a chance. All the money and effort is wasted.
This reality causes many people who would like to donate or volunteer to sit on the sidelines; futility is a great de-motivator.
So rather than sitting on the sidelines or setting piles of money on fire trying to defeat your member of Congress, who isn’t going to lose, how about you adopt a district elsewhere; seats Republicans can turn back to red?
In every campaign cycle, there are ads about how much money candidate X receives outside of their district, but it never matters. Campaign money is campaign money, and no one cares where it comes from. It all spends the same. And while your district may be represented by someone you disagree with vehemently, others don’t have to be.
I don’t live in Pennsylvania’s 17th district, for example, so that Connor Lamb represents it shouldn’t matter to me. But it does. Not because he’s a jerk, but because every vote he casts impacts me as much as my representative’s vote does. No effort on my part will oust my Democratic Representative (he won easily with more than 65% of the vote), but my efforts could help oust Lamb, who represents a western Pennsylvania district President Trump won by three points.
It helps that Lamb has a great conservative challenger – former Army Ranger and best-selling author of “Outlaw Platoon: Heroes, Renegades, Infidels, and the Brotherhood of War in Afghanistan,” Sean Parnell. Sean is a great guy, a friend, and if anyone can flip that seat back it’s him.
There will be dozens of Sean Parnells stepping up in districts across the country -- districts you don’t live in, in states you don’t live in -- where your efforts will do much more than anything you could do at home. Whether your district is safe red or blue doesn’t matter. If it’s safe, adopt another one and help there instead. Find a district President Trump won that now has a Democratic member and get involved. (Here’s a list of some.)
Campaigning in 2020 is not like any other time. Challengers can’t hold fundraisers or meet with community groups, gaining a foothold will be more difficult than ever before. Find a district somewhere in the US and get involved there. If you can, donate. If you can’t, volunteer. Anyone, anywhere, can phone bank for a candidate across the country from the comfort of their home. Reach out to candidates, see who you like, and adopt their campaigns.
Social media and the Internet have eliminated physical distance mattering in communication, why not bring that to campaigning? Nationalize the election, as Republicans did in 1994, by making anywhere your support is needed your district. Adopt a district, or districts, if you can. Donate to races where it will matter the most. Volunteer remotely for anywhere.
Safe districts are safe. Ignore them. Conservatives need to focus our energy where it will matter the most. Find a candidate in a district we can flip back or realistically flip, roll up your sleeves, and get in the fight. The alternative is the party that demanded payoffs for their friends and our money for their causes during the crisis of the century, maintaining the positions that allowed them to do it in the first place. Only after November, they’d be even more emboldened. If that doesn’t motivate you, nothing will.

COVID-19 Coronavirus and Overpopulation
By A Colleague
Those who promote population growth and cramming people into ever more crowded communities and nations should take stock that something like this is the consequence of an ecologically untenable population. The COVID-19 coronavirus, along with other deadly coronaviruses like SARS, came about as a result of circumstances that are a direct result of overpopulation, in this case unsanitary swine and fowl farms in crowded China.
