The Beatles’ “Help!” (Originally Released 1965, Remastered 2009)

Re-posted by Nicholas Stix

N.S.: This is a perfect case of the distinction between "song" and "record." As a song, this isn’t much. The tune won’t make anyone forget Richard Rodgers, and nobody’ll confuse the lyrics with something from Oscar Hammerstein II.

And yet it’s a splendid record. The backup singing of Paul and George are a big factor, as is their blending with John’s lead vocal, and the general ebullience of the group’s playing, especially Ringo. This would never have worked in a slower tempo.

John Lennon T-Posing 1 year ago
“John Lennon said this is his favorite Beatles song. He wanted to make a better version of it, but never got the chance.”

N.S.: How could he have made “a better version of it”? This is it. John Lennon talked a lot of rot.

Knew the race of the shooter in the Coors brewery mass shooting when police & most primary media outlets refused to identify the subject, only calling him a "51 yr. old employee". In cases of diversity mass killers they like to wait until the initial hysteria dies down a bit. https://newsone.com/3904888/milwaukee-shooting-motive-alleged-brewery-racism/
Took some effort but finally I found his name: Anthony Ferrill, a black Coors employee, who, according to social media reports, was suffering from racial harassment at the workplace which caused him to snap, including the dreaded "noose". The so called postings by his brotha's and sista's sound more like speculation than truth and I suspect that fabricated racism is going to be the standard rationalization for every black workplace shooter from now on. Notice that many news reports of this shooting reference a shooting from a few years back that involved an alleged "white supremacist". That's how the public is deceived, people will confuse this black shooter with being a white supremacist shooter because it was in the body of so many initial articles. Sneaky devils those media disinformation operatives. Here is an article with a picture of Mr. Ferrill:
