A surveillance camera in Northwest D. C. captured the moment a large group of people attacked and robbed a victim on New Year's Day. D. C. Police hope the public can help identify people in the group.

I'm boldly assuming the victim isn't black (one reason is the iPhone) -- I don't think 'hate' laws should exist, re violent crime, speech, or anything else -- but when you have a monolithic/single race group attacking an individual of a different race like that, there is most definitely racial animus involved.
