GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Police are investigating after a homeowner shot and killed an intruder overnight.
It happened just before 2:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of Houseman Avenue NE Grand Rapids(mixed hood--not a horrible area).
Grand Rapids police say a male subject allegedly made entry into the home and was confronted by a man who lived inside.
The two started fighting and the man who lived inside shot the intruder in the chest, killing him.
Police say it appears the victim is known by the shooter and another woman who lived inside the home.(GRA:So was he really an "intruder"?Maybe,maybe not).
No names have been released.
GRA:Black police chief Payne:"We can't have two murders in one week--call it self defense."(my opinion).
No doubt blackies playing with blackies at that hour of the night.
