2019 had the highest homicide rate D.C. has seen in more than a decade
As we count down to 2020, D. C. Police Chief Peter Newsham held a year-end news conference Tuesday afternoon, where he addressed several points, including the District's homicide rate. Like several other large U. S. cities, it ticked up slightly from 2018 - about 4 percent.

Nearly half of this year's homicides remain unsolved.

It's the white police chief's fault(sarcasm)--I was shocked to see a paleface at the microphone.Then blackie mayor Bowser stepped up and order in the world was restored--a black mayor to guide D.C. to a decline in murders is liking hiring a Mex to stop illegal immigration.The only way you reverse murder statistics is by replacing your black citizens (if you can call them that)with whites.
