N.S.: The headline writer doesn't seem to understand the proper use of adjectives, or causality. He wrote as if the slap and the brawl were just coincidentally related. "Shocking" and "brutal" are also inappropriate in this context. "Brutal murder," "Brutal stabbing," o.k. "Brutal slap"? In what universe?
Easier to say,the black slapped the white guy.Kudos to whitey for winning the skirmish afterwards.I hate to ask,but with a slap like that,was this a gay fight--as in queers fighting?Or didn't they know each other?Strange stuff.

His lawyers play the poor deprived victim defense strategy, didn't see anything about discrimination but I'm sure the subtext was there. Wonder where this scumbag got the name Cody Hermann. Maybe took an anglo name to escape a criminal past? Notice the article has lots of full clear photos of the victim and only one profile of the perp toward the bottom of the article, if you didn't read through it you'd think it was a home grown white guy that must have done it.
