We've talked about this before. Batteries are dangerous. If the case gets even a hairline crack and admits liquids, poisonous fumes, fires (as in this case), are the norm. A hybrid car, with a big battery pack generally under the back seat, is just as dangerous as an all-electric vehicle.
Reading the Wall Street Journal reportage on Tesla over the years, it has always seemed to be a big scam. Like something out of a 19th century Zola or Trollope novel.
EDBERGS VS THE EL ASSADS--CIVIL WAR COMING TO SWEDEN
ReplyDeleteAuthored by Paul Joseph Watson via Summit News,
The former CEO of trucking company Scania has warned that Sweden is heading towards civil war due to uncontrolled mass immigration.
In an interview with Swebbtv, businessman Leif Östling said that the arrival of so many new migrants who have failed to integrate into Swedish society is creating a fertile ground for violent unrest.
“We’ve taken in far too many people from outside. And we have. Those who come from the Middle East and Africa live in a society that we left almost a hundred years ago,” he said.
(GRA:One of the most perceptive comments ever.)
Explosions and grenade attacks have skyrocketed in many Swedish cities, with much of the unrest being blamed on migrant gangs. Sexual assaults and violent crime is also on the rise.
Östling underscored problems with integration by highlighting his own experience running Scania, where around 90 out of a hundred Somali migrants hired to work for the company were fired or left because they were unable to arrive on time or work in teams.
Östling believes that the “knowledge transfer” necessary for migrants to cope in Swedish society could take a generation to accomplish.
The businessman said he hoped that the country’s problems could be fixed within 10 years but if not, civil war could ensue, necessitating that the military be called out to deal with violent unrest in migrant areas.
GRA:You can't have it in Sweden and not other countries, can you? Will we beat them to it?WE'RE more fractured than Sweden is--in my opinion--though the size of the US makes it easier to cloak the lack of assimilation(not just by Muslims, but Mexicans and our own homegrown negroes).

ReplyDeleteRegular gasoline cars can burst into flame also, there are regular incidents of people getting trapped in their cars and burning to death. This article doesn't mean anything without statistics, we have no idea if the odds of getting burned to death in an electric vehicle are greater or less than being burned to death in a gasoline vehicle. Reality is that all cars are dangerous, they have engines that rely on volatile chemicals that can ignite and are subject to high speed collisions. The one bit of information that did jump out at me though is that that you can't open the door on a Tesla when the electricity fails, there should be an emergency method to open the door.
