FLASH: 'Ta-Nehisi Coates begins Apollo Theater residency'
"Acclaimed author" - of comic books and unreadable, repetitive diatribes - begins 3-year "residency" at the famed Apollo Theater.
"He said he isn't sure exactly what kind of projects he will undertake as an artist-in-residence" (of course he isn't - no fraud is).
"I never know what the work is until I'm halfway through it," Coates said. "Obviously I hope to continue to write, you know, but I think that remains to be seen — that will come out of the partnership."
(A "MacArthur Genius Grant Winner") "Coates' writing has been hailed for its lyrical yet clear-eyed view of the African American experience, often referring to his own life story. Between the World and Me was written as a letter to his son — an examination of race, police violence and the devastating legacy of slavery and segregation." (What else could he possibly "write" about?)
The Atlantic - having more or less shown Coates the door, their "cultural penance" complete - he is now free to perpetrate his fraud in a more acceptable cultural venue.
This guy has made millions writing unreadable drivel.
N.S.: And the funny thing is, very few blacks read him.
