NYPOST story I looked up,listed the cast of characters for this episode: Vargas,Gomez,Lugo,Diaz,Nido--the latter four cited for actual or potential game contributions. YOUR NY Wets (short for Wetbacks).Yes this includes DRs/PRs.Lagares,Ramos and Rosario not mentioned in this one. --GRA
Cohen appears to be one of these guys that wants to punish someone for verbal anger as a deterrent. I looked up on a legal website, whether a verbal threat constitutes "assault". "Generally no,depending on the specific laws of the state. An attempt to inflict IMMEDIATE bodily harm is regarded as assault." Vargas'move toward Healey could be construed as assault. But if no charges were filed,Vargas is off the hook.Cohen's musings about Vargas' failing to apologize,is in the same ballpark as Roseanne being punished,as a deterrent to OTHERS,for her controversial remarks about Valerie Jarrett.I'm against punishing free speech with threats of job loss.Forcing Vargas to apologize would not be a sincere apology anyways--and it would not be a deterrent. How well does prison act as a deterrent to black crime?Zip.Mex?No.Whites?Yes,I think so,but that's US. While I was looking up Roseanne,I see she's announcing a new comedy tour--with Andrew Dice Clay--called the Mr and Mrs America comedy tour. As a blogger mentioned:"not for snowflakes." --GRA
