According to AOC, Congress amended the Constitution to prevent FDR from being re-elected:

"They had to amend the Constitution of the United States to make sure Roosevelt dd not get reelected."

Actually this makes perfect sense for a Democrat: if the dead can VOTE, then why can't the dead be elected?
ReplyDeleteThey SHOULD HAVE THE AMENDMENT TO PREVENT FDR FROM BEING ELECTED AGAIN. The man had a messiah complex that only he could save the world. He was not for democracy. He was for a socialist state and was an apologist for communism.
ReplyDeleteFDR was a sick man from 1944 onward at least and perhaps before that. Hid it all from the American public and probably was mentally enfeebled to the point of not being able to make sound decisions.
Just from a practical standpoint letting new persons rule every eight years or so is not a bad idea, is a good idea, allows new blood to rise to the top.
Close enough--for a Congresswoman with an accent.

After FDR's bank holiday, many banks did not reopen. One of the first to fail was the Bank of Rockaway, formerly at the corner of Beach 96th Street and Rockaway Beach Blvd. At it's site is an assisted living center, a human warehouse and cash cow for the landlords - the new poor house. All the way from the New Deal to No Deal. Wow, we have come so far and where will AOC bring us pray tell? We are screwed - She is not qualified for the position. We deserve better than an affirmative action playtime actress.
