KTVI (Channel 2) newscaster Kevin Steincross was speaking on the station's morning news show at 5:34 a.m. Jan. 17 when he said a tribute to the civil rights icon at St. Louis University would honor "Martin Luther coon Jr.," speaking a racial slur that has

Every newscaster should take some practice time with tongue twisters, you know, like she sells sea shells by the seashore...remember doing those when you were a kid?
For this its: Martin Luuuuther Keeeeng...Keep alternating "oooo" & "eeee", over and over until it overrides that subliminal racism that wants you to pronounce "King" as "Koon", c'mon you newscasters, the racist sharks are waiting for you, just one little slip of the tongue and your career is over!

He fooled everyone! "Everyone" was shocked when Nathan Sutherland, a black male nurse was identified as the culprit who raped a mentally disabled woman at Hacienda Healthcare.

Who is everyone? Was "everyone" asked? I posted this in comments:

I'm imagining all the white people gathered in the lunchroom saying: It's gotta be Sutherland's kid! But all the black people saying: It's gotta be some white guy. Can only imagine their disappointment when the truth came out.
A scary thought is that if he had been smart enough to use a condom, he never would have been found out. Gotta wonder how much of this goes on in those places.

No photos of the victim or her relatives so we don't know if she was white, but if she was caucasian then they certainly would have know the perp was a black man when the baby was actually borne. Sutherland's lawyer is publicly stating there's is no direct evidence that his client raped the victim and has a right to his own DNA expert. http://www.startribune.com/nurse-arrested-in-case-of-incapacitated-woman-who-gave-birth/504749452/

This is invariably [?] a crime of a minority perpetrated against a white female. The orderly raping the comatose woman. In this particular instance the woman is an American Indian.

DNA is 100 % effective in ID'ing a suspect UNLESS IT IS OJ SIMPSON.

If it is OJ we have to stop and think about things for a while.

  6. A week ago, I managed to read the Atlantic piece by Ta-Nehisi Coates of two years ago, "My President Was Black." A more dishonest mix of tear-jerking remembrance and racial grievance-mongering I rarely have encountered.

The Atlantic used to be a great magazine until 15 years ago, when it moved from Boston to Washington, D.C. Somehow that traditional Brahmin skepticism died in the process. It still occasionally publishes excellent articles, especially by some of the legacy authors like James Fallows, James Parker and William Langwiesche, but the magazine's dominant mode is now an obnoxious anti-racist hipsterism.
