FedEx driver will not be charged after fatally punching man who called him racial slurs: report | Fox News
"W": So if you are non-white and claim that a white person called you a name, you are within your rights to kill them. Or so at least it is in Portland.
N.S. I had that sort of experience back in 1993. A black girl called me a "nigger," before trying to slash my face with a scissors on a Greenwich Village subway platform at 1:30 a.m.
I blocked the scissors, which superficially cut my hand (thank God for modern scissors!). Someone called the police, and his story matched mine.
Although the captain who was the CO at the scene corroborated my story, and gave the DA's Office (Morgenthau) a Polaroid of my bloody hand, the racist attacker claimed that I had called her "nigger," which to the liberal ADA was a pretext for treating me like a criminal. "Because of you, two black girls spent a night in jail!" To which I responded, "They should have spent more time in jail!," and "Good riddance to bad rubbish!"
The only honest response I got out of the white man ADA, was his admission that he never took the subway late at night. Yet another self-righteous, anti-white taxicab rider terrified of riding with the subway with blacks.
That I did ride the subway at all hours, and lived in the outer boroughs, made me a "loser" in his eyes. It's all about class war, just as it was when Robert Morgenthau conspired to suborn perjury, engage in malicious prosecution, and violate the civil rights of Bernard Goetz, a working-class Jew who had defended himself against a robbery attempt.
One year later, a black, Brooklyn expatriate, who had fled to New Jersey, where he drove an NJ Transit bus, asked me rhetorically, "Did you bring a lawyer?"
He knew the drill.
Self defense does not apply to words, either real or invented.Only attempted bodily harm allows for a victim to protect himself.Of course that was back when America was sane

Sounds like a typical barroom brawl. 2nd degree murder at least. What was the FedEx driver doing that got the white man so mad. Reckless driving? Probably so. If the driver had not stopped nothing would have happened. Just like when Zimmerman got out of the car and then Treyvons is dead soon after. This decision to not prosecute was a political decision.
