At around 7 a.m., on CBS This Morning, Gayle King (you know, Oprah Winfrey’s best girlfriend) had on Fran Townsend, chief guest Trump-hater du jour, a “former homeland security advisor,” who claimed to find it “very disturbing” that the Commander-in-Chief had exercised his prerogative to cancel a seditionist, former federal administrator’s (disgraced, former “Obama” CIA chief John Brennan) security clearance.
(By the way, as editor of O magazine for Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King has a huge conflict of interest. If she were white, I doubt she’d get away with that.)
Townsend acknowledged that the President has that power through Article 2 to the U.S. Constitution, but immediately added that the same Article gave him the power to fire special Prosecutor, er, “Counsel” Robert Mueller.
Thus, because Townsend doesn’t want Trump to fire Mueller, which is his prerogative, she also forbids him from canceling Brennan’s security clearance.
Townsend’s pretext was that Trump’s decision was “politically motivated” and “personal.” Never mind that Brennan was politically abusing and profiteering off of his security clearance, and through his seditionist work against the President, represents a grave security risk to the United States of America.
Madame President Townsend Worked for Bush II, who has loosed his share of Trump-haters on the world, most notoriously “ethics expert,” “W.” Painter.
The John Doe calling himself “Barack Obama” used to routinely violate the U.S. Constitution, yet none of these deeply ethical, Bush II, Trump-haters ever made a peep about it. But they are constantly telling the President that he can’t exercise his actual, legal prerogatives. That means that they refuse to recognize him as the President.
Their misconduct is a psychological tactic, to implant the notion in the public’s mind that Donald J. Trump is not the lawful president, and thus that the putsch they have been behind for 22 months to undo the 2016 election is fit and proper.
Several months ago, on a cable “news” channel (either CNN or MSNBC), talking heads were all agreeing that the President had “defied his advisors.”
It is impossible for a sitting president to “defy” his advisors.
They all serve at his pleasure, and he is the only one with the power to make executive decisions. If, on the other hand, they bad-mouth him and leak behind his back, they are guilty of defying him, which is grounds for immediate termination, and can be grounds for criminal prosecution.
Again, this is a form of psychological manipulation of the viewing public, to make it pliable to accept a putsch.
So, “Obama” was the president, but Trump isn’t. Does that mean that “Obama” is still president?
Fran Townsend: Trump Revoking Brennan’s Security clearance “deeply disturbing”
CBS News senior national security analyst Fran Townsend, who served as homeland security and counterterrorism adviser to President George W. Bush, joins "CBS This Morning" to discuss why President Trump revoking former CIA Director John Brennan’s security clearance is "unprecedented."
If Obama isn't the President THEY would sure like him to be.
ReplyDeleteAretha Franklin "Remembered" by Networks
ReplyDeleteOne of those occasions when earplugs had to be used today,if you were attempting to watch network news on ANY of the channels--at least for the first 6 minutes--as Aretha Franklin's shrill voice was played to the point of eardrum damage.
The late 60s had a variety of great music, from many different genres-a time when the Beatles,Stones,5th Dimension,Tommy James and the Shondells,Frank Sinatra,Perry Como, the Doors,Johnny Cash, the Archies,Temptations,Association and hundreds of other top groups and solo artists meandered up and down the Billboard top 100 chart for our enjoyment.
Yes--and Aretha Franklin.Though not a fan per se,her music was part of the era."Respect" was a record that seems dated today with the "Sock it to me" refrain right out of "Laugh-in"."Chain of Fools" sounded better, but I lost track of her music--except for a couple big hits.
Today, the scene liberal media couldn't resist playing was Franklin singing at obama's inauguration--when Aretha's voice was less than stellar(earplugs inserted),but that wasn't what the networks were getting at.It was a fond memory, for Lesta and the other news shows, back to a time when blacks ruled the country for one day--a day they are eager to return to again--only the next time,it will be for much longer and with more severe ramifications for whites.
"Chain of Fools"--might be something whites will be singing about themselves,if not careful, with a black president in 2020.
