He didn’t use those exact words, so I didn’t use proper quotation marks, or even single quotes, but President Trump left no doubt tonight that he is going to pardon Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
Arpaio was set up by a judge, who ordered him to stop enforcing the nation’s immigration laws. Arpaio went against the lawless judge, but the judge had the power, and so the lawman was convicted of enforcing the law. Guilty as hell!
Trump: “Sheriff Joe is going to be alright… but I won’t do it tonight.”
