There must be more to this story than what we're being told. Insofar as the obese jail guard goes she thought she had some captive desperate boyfriends at her disposal. How ever, once an employee breaks the rules and gets involved with one of the prisoners they're subject to blackmail as the prisoners ratchet up demands for them to do other things such as bringing in contraband.
