The Gonzales story occurred about 10 blocks to my south. THIS story, which is still ongoing, is comparable distance to my north.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids police are searching for three suspects in connection to a shooting Saturday.
It happened around 9 p.m. at a house in the 1600 block of Elizabeth Avenue NW, according to authorities.
According to police on scene, a 22-year-old woman was shot in the stomach and is currently in critical condition.
Police are searching for three suspects. The first suspect is described as a man around 5-foot-8 who was last seen wearing a white sweatshirt and dark pants. The second suspect is described as tall, heavy-set man who was last wearing a black sweater and blue jeans. The last suspect is described as a thin man who was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt and blue jeans.
GRA: I'll let you know for sure, but I would put the odds of the victim being white and the perps being black as 90%.
How about the descriptions NOT giving their race? I'll give updates tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteA quick update on the two stories mentioned:
ReplyDeleteGRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Kent County prosecutor has issued charges against a suspect in a stabbing and attempted carjacking outside the Walker Meijer.
Victor Gonzalez, 20, faces four criminal counts in the case, including assault with intent to do great bodily harm, assault with a dangerous weapon, unlawful imprisonment, and carjacking.
2)No sign of the 3 blacks who shot the (I believe) white female on Elizabeth.
3)New and just as bad as both these,or worse.
Two Mexican teenagers,Alex,17 and David Torrez,15 were speeding on 52nd street in Kentwood, over the weekend, when police began pursuit. The two Mexicans--driving with no license, increased their speed to 90mph,crossed the centerline and killed a white Calvin College student, driving the opposite way.
Torrez had 3 citations for DWAL.The younger Torrez was also killed. The driver survived.
Seems as if the Grand Rapids area is a microcosm of the decline of our country via the increase in blacks and Mexicans.More proof of that over the past few days.
