Donald Trump’s election as America’s 45th president was only hours old, when my inbox was filled with not one but two fundraising letters from Hate Central, better known as the Southern Poverty Law Center.
One letter insinuated that, because white supremacists celebrated President-elect Donald Trump’s victory over racist, sexist, criminal Hillary Clinton, therefore, Trump, too, is a white supremacist.
Following the SPLC’s logic, since Hitler was an enthusiastic vegetarian, all vegetarians are Nazis.
The other moneyball letter came from high-paid racist Richard Cohen, the SPLC’s president:
“Today, we've provided resources to our nation's teachers to help them begin to heal the scars that the campaign has left on their students.
“And we've alerted the country to the reaction of white supremacists to Mr. Trump's election in an effort to inoculate the nation against their growing influence.
“Tomorrow, and every day in the future, we'll fight for the rights of the most vulnerable people in America – those victimized by bigotry and discrimination.
“We hope Mr. Trump truly means what he says about reaching out to all Americans.
“But there is one group we hope he disappoints – the extremists who flocked to his candidacy and found in him a voice for their bigotry.
“During his campaign, Mr. Trump named far-right extremists as advisers, re-circulated racist and anti-Semitic tweets, gave press credentials to a white supremacist radio host, and refused for months to disavow David Duke [that's a lie] after the neo-Nazi endorsed him.”
If Cohen really meant what he said, he’d be fighting for the rights of normal, patriotic whites, especially white boys and men. But he didn’t mean it. He hates whites, especially normal, patriotic white boys and men, and wishes to see them genocided.
Please help me continue to fight Hate Central’s racism, sexism, heterophobia and treason, with a generous donation, via the PayPal “Donate” button at the top of the page.
Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
Nicholas Stix

ReplyDeleteSPLC doesn't really mean that.
"refused for months to disavow David Duke [that's a lie] after the neo-Nazi endorsed him.”
