In the 2012 election, Mitt Romney lost to Barack “Obama,” 65.9 million to 60.9 million, in the popular vote, and 332-206 in electoral votes. According to pollster Sean Trende, Romney left seven million votes on the table that would have gone Republican, had he not alienated them. With those 7,000,000 votes Romney would have easily beaten “Obama” in the Electoral College.
Two other factors come into play in this election that are further in Donald Trump’s favor. Trump is bringing independents into the Republican fold, and bringing back the Reagan Democrats that delivered Reagan two landslide victories. Finally, Hillary Clinton will not drive the sort of turnout among Democrats, and especially among black Democrats that “Obama” did. All of these factors are why Pat Buchanan recently said that Trump “could beat Hillary like a drum.”
Ted Cruz could not bring in Reagan Democrats, and if RNC Chair Reince Priebus conspires with party donors, consultants, and “leaders” to steal the nomination from Trump, not only would the GOP nominee not get any Reagan Democrats, but even more millions of Republican and independent voters would vote for anyone but Cruz than in 2008 and 2012, and Clinton would win in a landslide, even without Trump running as a third-party candidate. If the Party bosses were to install as candidate someone like Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (Wall Street-WI), the Party would endure an even worse landslide loss, than if Ted Cruz were its candidate.

If there’s still hope, it lies with Trump and only Trump. Donald Trump will do better with black and Hispanic voters than any other Republican. But it’s with white voters that he really opens up the electoral map.
A Republican Party that wasn’t intent on committing suicide would know that. But Stuart Stevens, the guy who lost a winnable presidential election in 2012, says it’s impossible for Republicans to get one more white vote—and the media are trying to convince the GOP that he’s right.
Stevens says Romney tapped out every last white voter and still lost, so he says Republicans are looking for “the Lost Tribes of the Amazon” hoping to win more white votes: “In 1980, Ronald Reagan won 56 percent of white voters and won a landslide victory of 44 states. In 2012, Mitt Romney won 59 percent of whites and lost with 24 states.”

They don't care, its the donors they follow. The GOP is done. When they ignore the millions of voters who voted for Trump and put up some lamo Bush, Romney or Ryan, that will kill their party right there. They do not care. They probably figure the money men will offer them all jobs if they lose.
