Note that the story depicts the late Noe Pena, 28, as both the aggressor and “the victim,” while depicting the 31-year-old man as both the vic and the “suspect.”

Update at 10:20 a.m.: Revised to include the victim’s name and more details from police about the shooting.
A man died and another was wounded in a shootout early Saturday, just minutes after the bars closed in Uptown.
The two men began arguing about 2:10 a.m. in the 2700 block of Howland Street, about a block from the Ginger Man’s Uptown location, police said.
During the argument, police said, 28-year-old Noe Pena allegedly followed a 31-year-old man to the man’s car and pointed a gun at him.
The 31-year-old pulled out his own gun and “defended himself,” shooting Pena as he stood outside the car, police said.
Pena was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital, where he died.
The 31-year-old suspect, whose name has not been released, left and showed up later at a hospital with gunshot wounds, police said. He was expected to survive.
Police plan to refer the case to a grand jury, which will determine whether the 31-year-old will face charges.
