Speaking of rape....Who cares about Muslim rape when we have the GREAT WHITE DEFENDANT to focus on? Who could have missed the story of Owen Labrie, a upper middle class white guy who may or may not have had consensual sex with a 15 yr. old girl. I just sat down to watch TV on Halloween eve and lo and behold Dateline is making the story it's feature presentation. I started thinking back to how many of these kind of cases have been featured on these new magazine shows and the only one I can think of off the top of my head is, well...Duke LaCrosse. How often do the many cases of school sexual assaults by black men against white victims get Dateline, 20/20 etc... features? I can't think of one. If someone can, please send it and I will stand corrected. Won't hold my breath though. Note this case has all the elements the media loves. Just look at Labrie's face, so white, so preppy, not a black face that has to be exiled to the back pages, the media needs a white perp to crucify and make the "face" of school rape. There's also a great little catchphrase like "Senior Salute", plus an Ivy Leagish school setting to frame against a sordid sex act.... http://www.nytimes.com/2015/08/27/us/owen-labrie-st-pauls-student-accused-of-rape-takes-the-stand.html?_r=0
So what do we do about it--besides protest this stuff? Why white men in decision making positions continue the philosophy of hiding black crime is a mystery. My local channel on Fox has started doing a weekly Most Wanted segment on their news hour.THEY are not afraid to put on as many blacks and mexicans as it takes to let the public know about crime in the GR area.Kudos to them.
