    And why did he keep getting hired? I'm watching HLN and he supposedly was oppressed for "being gay and black."

    In the book "What Cops Know" there's a quote about how gay killers tend to go downtown on the bodies of their murdered partners. So you may be right about "gays notoriously vindictive" in their actions. Probably derives from the same place "gay snarkiness" emanates from, IMHO.
