    You sure about that whole white people thing? I didn't see any mention of white people in the article.

    Correct, but it's pretty much universally understood that blacks don't tip, and I don't think Hispanics are much better.

    My understanding is that waiters and waitresses are tipped because they generally make less than minimum wage and rely on the tips as their primary income from the job.

    Baristas are an entirely different matter, and don't get me started on the strippers.
