    With a certain type of white liberal, it is an article of faith that blacks "are victims of racial profiling."

    I know a retired college professor (he's untypical in coming from rough background in the Boston area) who insists white pro football players were committing crimes in the 50's and 60's but weren't arrested.

    By the way, he lives in an affluent all-white neighborhood.
