As everyone knows, the proper response to a middle-aged neighbor lady asking you to keep your pit bull away from her cats is to stab her to death. Proper, that is… in The Diversity Zone.

Fresno couple charged in stabbing death of woman during an argument over their pets
A Fresno woman has been charged with murder in the fatal stabbing of a neighbor, allegedly during a dispute over their pets.
Laquandra Ligons, 27, was charged with murder in the death of 56-year-old Mary Lara, while her husband, 31-year-old Thurman Ligons, was charged with acting as an accessory to murder, Fresno Police Sgt. Dave Ramos said. The couple were arrested Sunday.
While walking her pitbull at night, Laquandra Ligons argued with Lara in front of Lara's home in the 1300 block of North Eighth Street, Ramos said. Lara was apparently afraid the dog would attack her cats, which were in the front yard, police said.
The argument quickly escalated, and Lara was stabbed several times, according to authorities.
Police found Lara lying wounded in her front yard. She was pronounced dead at a hospital.
