Does the New York Times’ Charles Blow Realize How True Stereotypes About Black Crime are?

Look at the unwittingly, comically smug face of Charles Blow, and answer me this: Is this man capable of realizing anything of importance?

BMWs are well known as "Black Man's Wheels."

I know, as I used to own a 1969 BMW 2002.

I bought it from Greg Black, a white (!) mechanic who worked on my old 1974 BMW 2002 that got broadsided in an accident.

Greg's shop was located in South Dallas, the old 'hood here in town.

Many of his clients were black. He was the one who told me that BMW stood for "Black Man's Wheels."

By the way, the letter writer failed to mention that Landover, Maryland is in Prince George's County.

Landover used to be home to be one of the biggest and nicest malls in the D.C. metro area.

The mall has since been demolished.

Why?

Changing demographics.

  1. At one time a black man wouldn't want to be seen driving an automobile unless it was a Cadillac, a Buick or an Olds.

NOW it is a Jaguar, a Mercedes, a BMW.
