“Cicero Man” [Read: Hispanic Alien Gang-Banger] Allegedly Flashed Gang Signs at [Hispanic Alien Gang-Banger] Stranger, and then Murdered Him

Jose Marroquin, 34 was arrested and charged in connection to a shooting [sic] incident which occurred on April 27, 2014 at approximately 4:40 a.m., in the 4100 block of W. 26th Street. Marroquin and the victim became involved in a verbal altercation when Marroquin produced a knife and fatally stabbed the 40-year-old male victim. The offender was arrested on May 16, 2014 at approximately 11:15 a.m. and charged accordingly. (Chicago Police Department Handout / May 17, 2014)
[First of all, there’s no such thing as a verbal altercation. An “altercation” is a fight. Second, if Marroquin allegedly flashed gang signs at the vic, and then went right after and murdered him, it wasn’t a fight, either, but a slaughter.]

A Little Village man was ordered held in lieu of $750,000 bail Sunday after he allegedly stabbed a man in the throat last month.

Jose Marroquin, of the 2700 block of South Kildare Avenue, faces a first degree murder charge in connection to the April 27 killing of Cicero resident Benito Juarez.

Marroquin, 34, and three friends were sitting in a restaurant in the 4100 block of West 26th Street about 4:40 a.m. April 27 when Juarez and his friend walked past outside, according to Assistant State’s Attorney Claire Savaglio.

Marroquin made gang signs at Juarez and his friend, according to Savaglio.

Juarez’s friend made a gang sign back and Marroquin ran out of the restaurant with a knife in his hand, Savaglio said.

[Marroquin was looking to kill members of rival gangs. That makes it Murder One, though I doubt he’ll be charged as such.]

Marroquin confronted Juarez and his friend and stabbed Juarez once in the throat, according to Savaglio.

Juarez’s friend helped him walk across the street where he collapsed, Savaglio said.

The 40-year-old, of the 2100 block of South 50th Avenue in Cicero, was pronounced dead at 5:24 a.m. at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Portions of the incident were caught on the restaurant’s surveillance cameras, Savaglio said, and Juarez’s friend identified Marroquin in a photo array and physical lineup.

A warrant was issue and Marroquin turned himself in to authorities on Friday, according to Savaglio and court records.

Marroquin had no other criminal background, Savaglio said.

[That’s impossible to believe.]

  1. Have you been following the Aaron Hernandez case? Hernandez is the former New England Patriots player now charged with three murders. The two he was charged with last week seem to have a similar scenario to this story.

  2. Cicero at one time was the headquarters of Al Capone and his mob.

Was also at one time one of the fifty most safest cities in the U.S. Until recently was still the same but now the population is predominantly [I hate to use that liberal word] Mexican.

So times and the place have changed.

A cigarette, a parking space, a dime or quarter.

That is all it takes to get you killed.

  4. Cicero was a heavily Italian area.

Italians and blacks hate one another, and will fight if the situation is right.

Much as with the Irish and blacks.

Some whitey groups are not intimidated by the American negro.
